Get your fax number
Pick a local number by area code, or a toll-free one. Every plan includes one.
Your fax number is included in every plan. With it you can receive faxes, and the faxes you send come from it, so replies come back to you.
Choose your number
Get a plan, then open Your fax number and pick one:
- Local number: type a 3-digit US area code, like 212.
- Toll-free number: one that starts with 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 or 888.
Both cost the same. Press Find numbers, then Get this number. You can't change it later on your own, so take a moment to choose.

If your plan ends
If you cancel, Your fax number stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If a payment fails and the plan ends, it stays active for 7 more days. Billing and Your fax number show the date. After it, the number stops receiving faxes and we release it, so it may go to someone else.
