Send a fax from your phone
Take a photo of each page and send it from your phone's browser. There's no app to install.
Faxies works in your phone's browser, like Safari or Chrome. There's no app to install. If your document is on paper, a photo of each page is enough.
Take clear photos
- Put the page on a flat, dark surface, in good light.
- Hold the phone straight above the page, with the whole page in the frame and no shadow over it.
- Take one photo per page.
- Faxes are black and white, so dark ink on white paper comes out best. Colored ink, highlighter and light pencil can be hard to read on the other side.
Send it
Open Send a fax and type the recipient's fax number. Under Document, press Choose files: your phone offers to take a photo or to pick one from your photos or files. Add the pages in order. If one ends up in the wrong place, move it with Up and Down.
Check the preview of each page, then go on to the cover page, the review and the payment, like on a computer. See Send a fax online for every step.
If a photo is refused
We accept JPG and PNG photos and PDF files. Some iPhones save photos as HEIC. If yours is refused, export it as JPG, or set Settings → Camera → Formats to Most Compatible and take it again.
